The reason why you can do this is because EU law states that you can have your vehicle serviced by any independent garage.

The law, known as ‘BLOCK EXEMPTION’ was brought in in October 2003, when the European Commission (EC) passed a law allowing vehicle owners the freedom of having their servicing and repairs done at their chosen workshop. This was to effectively block unfair competition between independent garages and dealerships.

Providing that the correct parts and procedures are used, there is no reason why you can’t SAVE MONEY, by getting your car professionally serviced by a reputable local garage – such as us.
